"Good art" is made by using elements of art such as line, shape, color, value, form, texture, and space combining those elements with principles of designs such as balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, rhythm, and unity. Yes, the difficulty of the process does increase the importance of the art. If it is more difficult, it takes more time which can incorporate more details of the art to make it seem more interesting.
